Deepika Soni is the Founder and the Artist behind the lens at Photo Culinaire Studio. She is a former human rights attorney turned fervent culinary photographer. Her passion for both – the science and the art of photography inspired her extraordinary transition from the law and policy to the culinary studio. Deepika specializes in producing experiential, sensory-laden, vivid imagery to help viewers step inside a brand’s story.

To Deepika, photography is one of the greatest of arts. From a young age, photography captured her heart, and she always dreamed of blending her passion with entrepreneurship. Hence, Photo Culinaire Studio was born in late 2022.

A Worldwide Palette: Having lived abroad and travelled extensively, Deepika approaches her craft with a global perspective, recognizing and respecting the common language of food.

Distance is not an Obstacle: With the power of technology, we are able to collaborate with customers worldwide, overcoming physical limitations to produce breathtaking visual narratives. Whether you are a restaurateur, cookbook author, publisher, chef, food blogger, or other food related business, we aim to exceed your expectations in terms of visual storytelling.

The Goal: Our goal is to lead the way in food photography industry, and establish the highest standards for originality, quality, and creativity. We aim to become the studio of choice for anybody wishing to use striking and captivating photography to realize their culinary vision.

Deepika is also a proud member of Professional Photographers of America, and has worked with a variety of clients, and is constantly seeking new ways to push the boundaries of her craft, and find innovative methods of making food shine in photos. When she is not working, Deepika enjoys traveling the world, reading, biking in Central Park, and experimenting with food with her loved ones.

In addition to her commercial work, Deepika also plans to document traditional famous foods of Jaipur, her hometown in India, for a forthcoming project to be published. She hopes to present the culinary art and the spirit of Jaipur at a global stage.
